I had a great time bringing in 2026. My first visit to Walt Disney Concert Hall was very exciting as "The Roots" band led by Questlove on drums and Tariq on vocals played for two solid hours. We were greeted with a glass of champagne as we entered the Hall. As the 10:30p show kicked off, I could hear that the acoustics in the auditorium were excellent. I had chosen an orchestra seat on row L which was a center stage view. As the midnight hour approached, the countdown began and then the shiny streamers began dropping from the ceiling while The Roots played the traditional New Year's Eve song
Auld Lang Syne. As The Roots played through the night, every song was a reminder of how talented they are. It was 30 years since I'd last seen them appearing at a club in Santa Monica on the Third street Promenade. I was rewarded with a great show in a wonderful venue.

We had a fabulous experience watching the LA Philharmonic, conducted by Mehta, perform Mahler 3 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. These talented musicians will blow you away!
The sculptural landmark has lovely acoustics and just the right amount of seating. We are blessed to live within walking distance.
My husband and I are thrilled to have finally come to the symphony. We plan to be back soon. We definitely need more of our younger generations to support the arts.
